How does the VLS installation process work?
It starts with an initial consultation and site assessment, followed by feasibility and proposal design. We handle documentation and approvals, then complete installation, testing, and commissioning, and provide ongoing support.
What warranties are included?
Typical manufacturer warranties are 25‑year performance on panels, 10–12 years product warranty on panels, and 5–10 years on inverters. VLS also provides workmanship warranty and support per your contract.
Will my system work during power outages?
Standard grid‑tied systems shut down when the grid is out for safety. If you need backup, choose a hybrid system with batteries and an inverter that supports islanding/backup power.
What maintenance is required?
Solar systems are low‑maintenance. Routine panel cleaning and periodic inspection keep performance optimal. VLS offers monitoring, cleaning schedules, and preventive checks.
How much roof space do I need?
As a rule of thumb, plan for ~80–100 sq ft of shade‑free area per kW for standard panels. Exact space depends on panel wattage, tilt, and layout constraints.
What ROI can I expect?
